You can check out our website or find a band or choir member to place an order. The sale will end on November 24th. Delivery dates are December 11-14. Ms. Arjes held a Spooktacular IXL Challenge. Overall, students answered 28,322 grade level questions correctly in a week! The winning class was 2nd Hour with over 10,000 questions answered correctly! The top two students from each class were also rewarded with a pizza party. Congrats to all! Keep practicing your Math!!

Ms. Arjes' math classes competed in an IXL challenge last weekend. Overall, the students answered 7,214 math questions correctly. The winning class was awarded with a donut party. Congratulations, 8th Hour, for answering 3565 questions correctly!!

7th and 8th practice Monday-Thursday. (August 7th - 10th)
6th will practice Wednesday and Thursday. (August 9th & 10th)
Place is JH main gym-use west doors.
Time is 3:00 - 4:30 pm
These are encouraged but not mandatory.

The MJHS 8th graders have completed another IXL Challenge. The teachers would like to recognize the top three winners in each SOAR class. Students have shown proficiency in various Math, ELA, and Science standards at and above the 8th-grade level. Mylee H. scored proficient at 92 skills to take the top spot. She is followed closely by Sydney M. with 90 skills proficient and Karmen K. with 84 skills proficient.

Boats come in all sizes, shapes and colors! 6th graders in Mr. McDevitt's classes have been learning about Early European Exploration. This week, students worked with partners to design and engineer cardboard boats. Today, they tested their buoyancy. Will it float???

7th graders dissected frogs in Mrs. Barton's room today! Students worked together to learn about the systems of the body with guidance from Mrs. Barton and Mrs. Gensler. Students also had the option to participate in dissection virtually.

We are partnering up with Rochelle school district and the Ogle County Health Dept. to offer a school and sport physical clinic on Saturday, May 6th!
School physicals & immunizations are required for students entering grades: pre-k, kindergarten, 6th grade, and 9th grade for the upcoming school year. Additionally, 12th grade students have an immunization requirement.
A parent or guardian must be present at the student’s appointment. Appointments are required.
