What is the PTO?

The Meridian Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is comprised of dedicated parents, teachers and staff at Highland Elementary and Monroe Center Grade School.  

Through fundraisers and the tireless effort of our volunteers, we support all Meridian Elementary students in a variety of ways. For example, we provide resources and support for our school's teachers and staff, we sponsor and organize additional enrichment programs, and we work to promote a positive, active relationship between home and school.  

The PTO is one important way for you to be involved in your child’s education and there is a place for everyone in the PTO. You are invited to volunteer for any of our activities, serve as a committee member, become a committee chairperson, attend PTO meetings or just take part in any of our activities or events. You choose how much you want to be involved!
